This site displays weather data from my private weather station in Puketapu, west of Napier, New Zealand. The station is read manually each day at 1800 NZST, and the data collected is stored and analysed to produce the statistics shown on these pages.

 As mentioned above, the Forecasts & Info page gives you the Metservice forecast each day. You'll find a clickable link to data uploaded to the Weather Underground web page for Napier, giving info from Napier Airport. There is also a clickable link to a superb SkyCam image of Napier, courtesy of Airnet, providers of blisteringly fast wireless internet access!

Daily Summary: This page is uploaded to the website daily, and shows the weather data as at 1800hrs NZST, and a summary of the day's conditions. It is subject to the exigencies of internet connections and server loads, so may miss uploads at times.

WeatherBlog is a page set up to be an ongoing "diary", with comments, observations, and accounts of interesting weather happenings. Drop in now and then for a "window" into HB Weather.

The Monthly Data page shows detailed info from last month's weather observations at Puketapu, and gives extremes and variations from the long-term norms.

On the Data for 2009 YTD page is a summary of this year's data, up to last month, set out in tabular form. You can see at a glance how the year is shaping up, and compare figures for each month.

The Data for 2008 page is also in tabular form, but complete and for last year. By clicking back and forward, you can compare this year's weather with last years!

The Puketapu Graphs page shows the variation between figures for this station, compared to the NIWA 40 year means.
